The mainstream visibility of older creators on adult platforms reflects demographic shifts—aging populations with digital literacy—and algorithmic amplification. Platforms promote novelty and niche categories, making "mature" content a discrete, discoverable category rather than an accident of aging creators. If there's sustained demand for a category and regulatory tolerance, creators will supply it. The previous stigma that confined sexual expression to younger bodies is collapsing.
