The design principle emerging is that fewer, more precisely scoped affordances produce more predictable outputs. For teams building agents, the practical implication is clear: auditing for tool bloat and ruthlessly eliminating marginal capabilities may be the faster path to production-ready systems than adding specialized tools for edge cases.
