The bottleneck is power distribution math that manufacturers deliberately obscure. A $150 multi-port charger promises simultaneous charging across six devices but physically cannot deliver full wattage to all of them simultaneously, forcing users into an invisible triage system where some devices charge at 60 percent capacity while others languish. This design gap, hidden behind vague spec sheets and indicator lights, shows how the connected device economy still hasn't solved the fundamental constraint of shared power delivery, leaving consumers to reverse-engineer their own charging hierarchies or buy multiple chargers anyway.
