Amazon completes satellite constellation for broadband service

Amazon has finished manufacturing the full fleet of Project Kuiper satellites needed to compete with SpaceX's Starlink. The company now needs regulatory approval and launch capacity to operationalize the constellation. Satellite internet is becoming critical infrastructure: Amazon gains a direct path to serve remote areas and maritime regions while reducing dependence on other networks for its cloud services. The mega-constellation market is crowded—SpaceX, OneWeb, and Telesat are all competing for the same customers.
